TODAY!!! History was MADE!! Cathedral of Faith Church, Grace Emmanuel Baptist Church, Mt. Carmel Baptist Church in partnership with GHS and the City of Flint launched the “4 Pillars Project!” At a Press Conference this morning! This pilot project will bring Free MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES to our local churches 3 times a week EVERY week rotating amongst 4 Inner-City Flint Churches. As our Nation and Community battles Mental Illness, this is a huge BREAKTHROUGH in tearing down barriers and stigmas related access to Mental Health needs, that can hopefully lead to a reduction in violence in our neighborhoods! We are prayerful and optimistic!
